Civilization or lets call it technology has come with enough information on the steps mankind has taken to fight illiteracy. It is through composition of words that wise men and women have shared and continue to share their knowledge and passing it on to other generations. Through the print media and the information available on the web, it is now easy for even the layman to access almost every issue he/she would love to know for a fact or prove its origin. It is recorded in the good book that God wrote the Ten Commandments and it is his spirit that led prophets through different generations to write. It is also noted in the last book of the New Testament, John was instructed to write what he saw and heard, today we call it the revelation.

Apart from what God created, every other thing or activity has its origin on some written word either a map, a blue print and in most cases a rough paper. In our time it is most likely that even CNN and Microsoft or the American inversions to Iraq were once ideas that somebody took the time to write on a paper or a page in a computer. Might be, when they shared their thoughts with others they become realities or what we are seeing today.
Words form a greater part of nature than we would love to admit. The media houses play a major role in the development and the direction of the society. The print media takes over from where the syllabus in our education system ends.
It is right or may be okay to say that the media is the only peoples driven government of the people for the people now the big question is who has the truth.

Its a spirits world.

The bible says that; In the beginning there was word, and the word was with God,and the word was God.It goes on to say that everything that is, was made by Him,and that there is nothing that is, that was not made by Him. The book also says that God is a spirit and those who worship Him worship Him in spirit.
In river Jordan, John the Baptist witnessed the spirit of God alighting from heaven like a dove and resting on the head of  Jesus. Another John the writer of the gospel, quotes Jesus[The one who had received the spirit] as tell his believers that, He would not leave them alone but He would send a helper, the spirit of God; to come to them and help them and also teach them about Him.
Many people I have met and had the opportunity to share the word of God with, have only but left me wondering just how many Gods are out there: or to put it in simple words, what is it that man looks for to identify God?
I have read the Bible from the book of Genesis{although i have not fully understood what John is talking about in the book of Revelations} and as i have turned from chapter to chapter and book after another, my understanding is that, the world and everything in it is all but spiritual.

We eat, sleep, die, live, play ,rest, worship, sin, fall, raise, do everything we do even with our bodies as we are guided by the spirit or spirits for that matter. Our bodies are specially made to contain a spirit whether good or evil.  All living things were made by God and are the fruits of the spirit.
For anyone reading the Bible even for the very first time,He/she will find it spelled very clearly In the first two verse of the book of Genesis that;In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth, The Earth was shapeless and void and darkness was on the whole face of the Earth, But the Spirit of God moved upon the waters. This information alone to any serious reader who is reading the bible to gain knowledge, will bear in mind as he reads the rest of the book that, Even before any other knowledge about God is available to the world , the spirit of God was present in the void and shapeless dark world, there is also water in the world.Everything else that is written in the following chapters is the results of interactions between God ,the spirit and the man that God had said, Let US make man in our image.
Today it has become even more complicated to know the truth especially for us Africans; because of our poor reading culture,{what with the daily struggle to meet the ever-increasing cost of living and paying for our kids education-}Instead we have left it to pastors and preachers to communicate to God on our behalf and in return, we give them what they tell us God wants from us. we go to them to confess our sins according to how they tell us we have sinned, but we don’t follow-up to see if they deliver to God; what we can,and could only have given to God. we feel that,God prefers them to us.
Most of us knows that, For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only begotten son that who soever believes in Him shall no way perish but have ever lasting life. But only a few knows that the only begotten son of our living God can live in them if only they give Him their hearts.
When one leader of the ancient Rules called Nicodemus, noticed that there was something peculiar about Jesus and the way he was doing his things,he went to him at night and said to him.
“Hey, teacher, what is the secret?”
Jesus answered him, “You must be born again.”
“But how?”
“Through water to receive the spirit.” Jesus told him.
If you are honestly looking for the kingdom of God, start at the river. that is where the spirit is and has always been.

What caused the pot belly?

I have for a long time wanted to tell somebody about this message.Though i work in an industry that most people would not even imagine that we read the bible leave alone understand its contents. It has been a tough decision to make because i had to decide, whether i am doing it in all truth,or i have a secret hatred for our dear sisters. The reason I would still prefer to give it more time is because of the impact its going to have on the life’s of those who find themselves victimized by this topic, but still, i feel its much better if i share it with everybody, in case a better mind will explain it better to me.  The issue at hand is the what is causing  pot belly in married women and yet they where the shape of coca cola bottle before marriage. In my own opinion, Adultery has also contributed though there are other reasons.

In the society that we are living today, People  have become  what a Swahili speaker would call;-Kuzoeana na Mungu-i.e we have gotten used to God. Fornication and cheating among the married is the hottest news. Married women call  FM station explaining how they are making good this horrifying act, some with younger men and even domestic workers including watchmen. But is this the cause of this figure-less woman of today? lets see the possibilities.

The teaching on the trial of unfaithful woman is found in the old testament book of Numbers chapter 5; in the text that runs from verse 11 and ends with verse 29; God the father of creation tells Moses how he would come to deal with a scorn that was soon to visit the house of Israel and later spread to the whole world. It also tells of the punishment that God promises to bring on the perpetrators of the most hidden crime of a cheating wife..

It may sound flimsy to a modern Christian to imagine that , a little evidence like a husbands suspicion of his wife was enough to warrant a trial and if the accused was found to have committed the crime, then something would happen to her stomach and thighs and it would be a sign to the holy ones not to defile themselves with her. The verdict is clearly spell out in Chapter 5 verse 27; And when he has made her to drink of the water, then it shall come to pass that, if she be defiled and has done trespass against her husband, the water that causes the curse shall enter into her and become bitter and her belly shall swell and her thigh shall rot. and the woman shall be a curse among her people,
In our age and time ,much has changed and it might proof a bit hard to find a priest who is willing to perform the trail or even find any who knows of their being such a thing. but this whole concept changes once we look at what our lord and saviour revealed to Paul, 500 yrs after the law was first published. The passage found in the first letter he [Paul] wrote to the Corinthians, takes us back to the same trial and the punishment that those in the days of Moses had to go through, we see that it is only the circumstances that have changed, but the law of God has remained is effective as ever.

In the book of 1. Corinthians 11. Paul here again bringing the high priest who is our Lord Jesus Christ in the seat of judgement. In His death on the cross,Jesus sheds his own blood,to atone for all sacrifices, marking the end of all blood sacrifices. In this particular case of unfaithfulness, his blood takes the place of the blood of  birds, the measure of flour and herbs>,In verse 27.Paul wrote a warning to those who were taking in vain the holy communion which is observed to remind us of the innocent death on the cross of our Lord; ”wherefore who so ever shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the blood and body of the lord,28; but let every man examine himself and drink this cup.29;for he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself;not discerning the Lords body. in the final verse 30 .Paul wrote; it is for this cause that many are weak and sick and many sleep. so before you put that sacrament bread and sip that cup of the Lord, know thyself..
